Here’s a wine that has all one might expect from a ‘Cru’ from the southern Rhone, and it sells for not just half the price, but maybe more like one-fifth of the price!

This is hearty, full-flavored, spicy southern Rhone Grenache from one of the most impressive sites in the Vaucluse.  Vinified under the close supervision of Kermit himself with help from Daniel Brunier, the credentials here are, as they say, impeccable.  Add that to the fact that Robert Parker calls the 2007 Southern Rhone vintage the greatest he’s seen in more than 30 years that he has been writing about wine.
