wines. These limited bottlings reflect not
only the exceptional grapes from which
they are produced, but also the freespirited
personalities of those who call
Mendocino home.
This elegant dry red wine boasts a
marvelously complex nose of ripe black
cherry and black raspberry fruit with
complementary scents of sage, black tea,
white pepper and vanilla. On the palate the
wine delivers rich, ripe savory cherry and
berry flavors that pick up a zesty tea-leaf
spiciness in the long finish. This flavorful,
well-balanced Pinot Noir makes a fine
accompaniment to grilled salmon, roast
duck, rosemary chicken, herb marinated
lamb chops and aromatic cheeses.
